Wonderfully Stated… Wish I had said it!

My buddy, John Horvath, had something really wonderful to say about this project yeaterday that I’d like to share here:

We learn in many ways and one of the most important and profound is through empathizing with others who have had similar experiences to ours and understanding the ways that they react to them and why. Looking forward to this project and I encourage all of my friends to check it out as well!!!

John, by the way, is the guy who inspired me to start this project via a quick couple of email exchanges.

So even as I work to make this site useful to people, my way of thinking about it continues to change. Or to be refined. Which is the whole point of this projet. So thanks, again, John.

And we’re off!

Today is the actual launch of the site! It has been a lot of fun putting this project together and talking to people about what it should be and how it should work. Of course, there will be changes and additions in the future, but for now, I am going to sit back, relax and enjoy a brief break before working in the new features I have in mind.

Happy Acting!

First Steps

I am very excited about how things are shaping up for this project. I already have begun working as an editor on an entry from a friend. I am thrilled that he is going to contribute to the site.

I am also beginning to get feedback from folks who have taken an interest in the project and I am incorporating some of that feedback into the 1.0 version of the site. The look of the site will change (probably dramatically) from the way it appears as of this writing (April 12, 2013).

This project started as a mere idea 4 days ago, and now I am already working with another author with a first draft completed and revisions soon to come. Incredible.

If you have ideas on how this project could be better, feel free to use the form on the “Contribute” page as a way of contacting me. (I don’t mind if you don’t submit an entry with it.)
